Texas Loses 27-24 Again as Sark Faces the Arch Manning Question

Hi, and welcome to another edition of Right

on Rangers LIVE.

Coming at you, two-minute warning.

The Gators with a three-point advantage.

Arch Manning coughing up the football right before

the two-minute stoppage.

Trevor Goosby, what are we doing, brother?

All you got to do is fall down

on the football.

Easy recovery.

Instead, butt out trying to pick it over,

pick it up, scoop and score.

Not really sure what the strategy was there,

but here we are, Florida with the football.

Texas with some timeouts, still definitely an opportunity

for the defense to stand tall and potentially

get the ball back.

Florida is very close to field goal range.

I would say a few more yards.

According to the ESPN tracker here, they are

about four yards away from field goal range.

If you're just joining us, Texas right now

down 27-24, less than two minutes left.

Arch just not seeing things.

Look, can we be honest?

The line was not good on that play

where Arch fumbled, but they are showing right

now, Arch had an opportunity to get rid

of the football on that play and he

didn't.

Arch had an opportunity there.

He's just not seeing the field well.

I think that's obvious here.

He's just not seeing the field well.

And who knows why?

This is one of the worst defensive secondaries

in the nation Florida is.

This to me, it felt like the Arch

coming out party.

I mean, this game felt like a get

right game for Arch coming into it.

You had the secondary of Florida reeling.

You had the embarrassment factor last week against

OU.

You feel like the Horns will come out

fired up today, especially the offense, who in

my opinion really cost Texas the game by

not routinely taking advantage of opportunities and taking

care of the football.

I know a lot of people are going

to be talking about Arch and potentially, is

there a second guy?

Is there somebody that can compete with him?

I just don't see Arch taking a bench,

man.

I really don't.

And Sark, I've kind of talked about this

a little bit throughout the last couple of

weeks.

Sark just came out so heavy-handed early

on in the year, a lot of arrogance,

a lot of chest beating.

And look, now there's a little bit of

a fall here.

There's some pride and now there's a fall.

I just felt like Sark was way too

busy early on clapping back at reporters, trying

to win the press conference.

And now what you're seeing is a big

time humbling.

I mean, the Longhorns might win this football

game.

They got one time out left third and

seven big play here.

I mean, this is the game got to

make a stop run play.

And there's the game.

They're going to call him out of bounds,

but I feel like they have, they have

just about enough downs to wind it all

the way.

Texas gets to save a time out.

So you're going to wind it on second.

You're going to wind it on third.

You're going to still have a little bit

of time left because he got out of

bounds there.

I don't know how they call them out

of bounds.

That feels like a really generous call.

I guess they didn't.

Did they change it?

I guess they changed it.

I thought that they signaled out of bounds.

They must've got together and decided that the

clock's going to run on that one.

Had an opportunity, a lot of arm tackling

today, man, a lot of arm tackling, a

lot of bad tackling today from the defense.

This isn't a game where I really feel

like, you know, the defense was at its

best, but nevertheless, when the offense is not

able to sustain drives, you've got a look,

you go to the stats today.

You look at the possession.

Florida's had the ball 37 plus minutes after

these next couple of downs, 37 plus minutes.

Florida has had the football.

Texas has possessed it for just under 22.

Your defense has been on the field all

day.

They've been on the field all day.

And now you gotta, you gotta just go

through undefeated the rest of the way.

I just, I have a hard time seeing

it.

Hard time seeing it.

Gators have the football right now.

And they're going to be able to wind

this all the way down, which they are

27 to 24 is going to be your

final score.

Texas is going to have to be perfect

the rest of the way.

And you've got Ole Miss coming up next

week and season could be over as soon

as next week.

And you know what I mean?

We'll still cover.

I mean, we're still going to be doing

our thing week in and week out, but

I mean, honestly, season could be over next

week against Ole Miss.

You are at home.

Not that that matters.

We watch what happened today.

Not that that matters, but your season could

basically be over.

Boo birds should be raining down in Austin.

I'm a little surprised that I think it's

the home crowds a little too stunned to

think about booing, but this would have been

a, would have been a day to boo.

I mean, it really would have been, this

was just not a great performance.

We had all this talk about how good

a week of practice this was for Arch

Manning.

Wednesday's practice was one of the best practices

of the year.

I mean, look, maybe I'm a little bit

cynical, but when that came out, I said

to myself, Hey, how funny would it be

if they lost?

I mean, you, you've got all this talk,

all this hype up of how the week

has been after OU and after losing to

them at Red River.

I just, again, the cynic in me just

had a thought, you know, how funny is

it going to be if they lose to

the, the national college football fan, man, gassing

up practices, Wednesday practice.

I also commented, which isn't going to surprise

me at all.

Uh, how, how much are we betting that

Sark comes out and gases up Florida hard

in the postgame presser?

I mean, I I'm not even, I don't

even have a doubt on that.

You're going to have Sark big time pressing

how good Florida is.

You know, it, they are going to come

out and they are going to be banging

that gong the rest of the year.

How good Florida is.

I'm sorry, man.

Florida was trash the last two weeks.

I'm definitely not sitting here at all thinking

that Florida is some elite team and we

just got beat by him, Florida and Texas,

honestly, in, in the same exact spots and

crazy enough, Florida five and two, Texas four

and two Florida in a better spot than

Texas right now.

Honestly, tough game to be at.

If you're a Horns fan, man, just really

tough game to be at.

Again, I think it's more shocked than anything

that you didn't hear more boost today.

Bench Sark.

I do think that the calls for Sark

to give up play calling is going to

be a lot louder.

I don't know how much he's going to

be able to fend it off.

I think this year he might be able

to fend it off if they crash out

this year, which it's looking likely that they

will.

And just to clarify crash out, meaning they're

not going to make a playoff, right?

They could, but I mean, look, you, you

have Ole Miss Mississippi State, Missouri LSU.

And then of course you have Arkansas and

you have the rivalry, A&M a

lone star showdown at the end of the

season, Texas winning six in a row here.

And then that, I mean, could there could

be a championship game after that?

Possibly if things fall the right way at

minimum, you have six games left.

I just do not see them going six

and O this, this team just does not

look like a team that's going to run

the gauntlet in that regard.

Would love to be wrong.

Would love to eat a massive plate of

crow on that one, but this just does

not strike me as a team that is

going to run the gauntlet and go undefeated.

The rest of the way, the quarterback controversy

talk I know is going to get loud.

I would just say, get the expectations real

low on that one.

I don't think right now you're going to

see a lot of that.

I think it's actually going to take another

embarrassing loss or two for there to be

real change.

I think that Sark look, I already said

it.

I felt like Sark came into the season

and just opened up the season way too

prideful.

You had a lot of chess beaten in

the postgame pressers, Sark doing his clapbacks in

the media, you know, just defending the team.

And this is kind of what you get.

I feel like this is pretty appropriate.

You're losing to Florida, you lose to OU,

but I think it's going to take a

second for Sark to get it.

I don't know if he's really able to

be objective about it at this point, because

I think pretty much everybody is seeing that

this isn't working except for him.

He's really the only one that's not seeing

it right now.

And that's unfortunate.

There's some things that I do feel like

are fixable.

You've got so many pieces.

You got so many pieces, man.

But at this point, what is playing out

on the field is not working.

And you don't have the right person in

charge really acknowledging it.

Sark is the guy that's going to be

the one that starts the change.

I really don't see Del Conte coming in

and telling Sark what to do.

I don't see that happening.

I mean, you let me know if you

feel otherwise.

I don't think Del Conte comes in and

tries to take anything away from Sark.

I just don't see it.

And Sark does have a point.

I mean, he was brought here to call

plays.

You brought Sark here because he was an

offensive mind, won a championship at Bama.

That's why you brought him here.

So I do agree with that train of

thought.

But when it's not working and you're not

making adjustments, I mean, albeit the first drive

was nice, that is totally an indictment on

the coach and the coaching staff.

Ka-chow, it's good.

Arch has to come back next year.

His draft stock is literally so low right

now.

Isn't that wild?

I mean, Arch is really in a tough

spot.

Texas is in a tough spot with Arch

because he's most certainly going to be coming

back next year.

I don't think Arch is going to to

go to the NFL after this year.

He's not going to the NFL.

He's going to stay in college.

I don't really think there is a scenario.

I mean, maybe if he lights it on

fire, the next six games and Texas runs

the table, there could be an argument there,

but I don't think he's ready.

And I think the stock has taken way

too big of a hit with these two

losses.

I don't think he'll be a first-round

pick.

I do think the really interesting conversation is,

do they basically do the Parker Livingston with

Arch?

Do they basically say, Arch, try and catch

on somewhere else, dude.

We're going to roll with Bell.

We're going to roll with some of the

guys that we're bringing up.

That to me would probably be the most

interesting scenario.

I think Arch is definitely coming back, but

does Texas decide they might be better off

with someone else at the helm?

And Arch goes elsewhere to play his probably

last season of college football.

I think if Texas flames out, that is

definitely something that has to be on the

table.

If Arch, I guess, wants to really just

stay and be a backup, but I don't

know how you roll into next year with

Arch as your totally unquestioned number one starter.

If this keeps up, I don't think it's

going to get a ton better next year.

I could see it getting a little better

next year with Arch and just another year

of experience.

But I mean, you got freshmen that are

popping off right now.

That is the most frustrating thing is you

got freshmen that are popping off and you've

got Arch fourth year, struggling fourth year, man,

and just struggling to grasp some of the

routes, some of the schemes, missing open receivers,

not able to go through the progressions, not

able to hit the hot routes.

And there were a number of just hot

routes, just quick flat routes that Arch isn't

even seeing passing up for a run.

I don't think Arch is going to be

24.

Isn't it 23?

Is he 23 now?

You might be right on that.

Honestly, Mick J, you might be right.

Comment was, what is Arch going to be

24 after next year?

He is.

Let's see.

Let's get the bio.

It's not actually doesn't show it on ESPN,

at least what I'm seeing.

I mean, it's inconsequential, 23, 24, uh, whatever

the case may be.

He is, he's at a spot where he

needs to be producing much better last year,

last year of eligibility though.

Next year is last year of eligibility.

Is Sark ruining Arch?

I don't think so.

I really don't.

I don't think Sark is doing awesome.

Don't, don't get me wrong.

Don't get it twisted, but I don't think

Arch is getting ruined by Sark.

I mean, look, Quinn Ewers, uh, clearly had

some success with Sark in the system.

In some ways, I feel like even with

Quinn Ewers, we always kind of felt like

the offense was still a little bit reined

in.

You just didn't feel like the offense was

like a top elite offense, even if they

were putting up numbers, it just felt like

there was just a little something holding them

back.

I personally don't think it's Sark ruining Arch.

I think if anything, you could probably make

the argument today that Sark actually schemed up

some good plays that Arch just isn't able

to see.

And then the O-line did not really

play amazingly today.

I don't think we can blame it all

on the O-line just because Arch has

a history of not coming through at this

point.

And so I don't think we can blame

the O-line in its entirety, but you

saw some open plays today.

I saw multiple different open receivers, and they

were showing it on the broadcast.

You were seeing it.

It slowed down.

You have open guys.

It's just not clicking for Manning back there

in the pocket.

A part of that is O-line.

It's getting sped up big time for him,

but I don't think it's Sark ruining Arch.

I really don't.

One thing that I think that I walk

away from though with Sark is you've got

just a lot of stubbornness with the scheme,

right?

And I don't know if Sark right now,

my biggest criticism on Sark is how much

are you really developing the offense around the

strengths of the players that you have?

Arch, they kind of go back and forth

with him with the running.

I saw kind of a side-by-side

in one of the comments earlier on in

the year, Steve Sarkisian criticized Arch Manning for

falling in love with his legs too much.

And then Sark came out recently and said,

we need to have him run more.

I mean, there is a weird disconnect mix

messaging coming out of Austin in that way.

I don't think Sark is ruining anybody, but

yeah, I think Manning is a little bit

in over his head right now and that's

putting it nicely.

It's Arch ruining Arch comment from YouTube there.

Kachow, appreciate you, man.

Yeah, Arch is just not taking that next

step forward.

I think that's the biggest frustration is as

a fan, you naturally think, hey, each year

we're going to see something a little bit

better, a little bit better, especially for a

guy like Arch Manning, such a highly touted

prospect and such a hyped up player.

You're really thinking, man, we're going to get

this elite version of Arch, especially after like

how he played in the bowl game.

Granted, I know you take the bowl games

these days with a grain of salt, but

he had some really good momentum at the

end of last year.

Lone Star Showdown was solid.

He played really well in Lone Star Showdown

against A&M.

He played well against Michigan in the bowl

game.

And you really were feeling like there's some

positive momentum around Arch.

Another year, maybe he gets in the lab

a little bit in the off season and

he comes back as year two starter, really

crushing it.

Not the case.

Not the case.

It is wild.

Good comment from TikTok here.

MPJ, I appreciate you.

It is wild how much money Texas has

spent on this roster to be playing like

this.

Florida is definitely some kryptonite right now.

Suave, I couldn't agree more with that.

Definitely kryptonite right now.

No doubt about it.

Tommy, what's good?

Not going to talk too much MLB on

the show today, my guy.

It's good to see you though.

But look, I don't think there's a lot

of people upset about the Dodgers flaming out.

I'll say that.

Pat says you got to sit Arch.

He's too much of a liability.

I think, you know, Pat, appreciate you, man.

Thank you for the comment.

I think they will play the card of

whoever you could throw in behind him potentially.

I think they'll play the card of not

ready.

You know, don't, don't have enough confidence in.

I mean, I'm just telling you, I think

they are going to, you know, do some

gas lighting in that way.

Arch gives us the best chance.

He knows the system, blah, blah, blah, blah,

blah.

I don't see them going to the backup

next week.

I don't see them going to the backup

the week after.

I think the only way you see a

backup play is if it gets a little

ugly, four losses, five losses.

I think maybe at that point you're thinking

about backups, but I think they will ride

it through towards the end of the season,

really with Arch at the helm and same

thing with Sark and the play calling.

The off season would probably be the opportunity

to make a change.

I don't see them making any kind of

change with the play calling in season.

Not saying that it's the right thing to

do.

Just telling you where I'm at.

Although here's a quote Sark asked if he

thought about benching Arch Manning, Sark says, everything

is going to be evaluated.

Everything is going to be evaluated, according to

Steve Sarkisian, when asked about benching Arch Manning.

I'm going to pull up X so we

can get some comments here.

Sark says he's extremely disappointed, but said they

have a better team than they are right

now.

I would agree with that.

I do think they are a better team

than what they're showing.

They've got way too much talent to be

dropping back-to-back games here to the

Gators and the Sooners.

Way too much talent.

Oh, that Goosby play is just brutal, man.

I don't know if y'all saw that

Trevor Goosby play.

So Arch fumbles, doesn't throw the ball, should

have gotten rid of the ball.

He fumbles.

Goosby's like butt out, bending over, trying to

pick up the football.

That's just an ugly look.

Really an ugly look.

Look, I guess Go Gators and Go Sooners

the rest of the way.

I know we got a lot of Sooners

fans trolling in the chat right now.

I guess Go Sooners and Go Gators the

rest of the way.

Am I right?

You kind of have to cheer for them

at this point.

You do not want Florida and Oklahoma to

be bad losses.

So at this point, I mean, it's disgusting

to say out loud, but I think if

you're Texas, you got to say Go OU.

You need OU winning as many football games

as possible at this point.

Same thing for Florida.

Got to have Florida winning a lot of

football games from this point too.

If both these teams go on to have

really bad seasons, it might even be tough

to make the playoff with two losses to

these teams.

If Florida and Oklahoma play well the rest

of the year, I think that changes a

little bit.

Goosby definitely had the Cam Newton moment.

Definitely Goosby had the Cam Newton moment there.

If you're not familiar with the reference, of

course, Cam Newton got fried in that Super

Bowl against the Broncos or not diving on

the football on a late fumble.

Cam right there probably could have dove, probably

could have recovered it.

Call it whatever you want to call it,

but it definitely had that feel to it

with Goosby.

You are a 300 plus pounder, dude.

Let gravity take you right on down to

the ground, my guy.

We don't need to be bending over, butt

out, trying to scoop and score there.

You acting like Texas not going to lose

another game coming from TikTok.

What?

I don't understand that at all.

What have I said that is indicating that

I think Texas isn't going to lose another

game?

I think I came out and said flat

out, I don't think that they're going to

run the table.

I don't see them running the table.

Do I see maybe a five and one,

maybe a four and two?

I don't see them losing out or anything

drastic like that.

Do I think they're going to run the

table and go six and oh, oh, I

don't.

I would love to be wrong though, by

the way.

I'm surely not cheering for that, but if

you want my unbiased objective opinion, I don't

see the Longhorns winning out.

There's too many good teams on the schedule

and there's too many games that have juice.

The A&M game, A&M I know

is in a bad way right now, but

we know how the rivalry games go.

We just witnessed it a couple of, or

a week ago, seven days ago, we witnessed

it.

You got Ole Miss, you got Lane Kiffin,

you got Missouri at Missouri.

I don't even, Gerald, I'm not even sure

they go nine and three.

I think going eight and four right now

is probably more realistic than nine and three.

Five and one feels generous and maybe I'm

just in a bad place after two straight

losses, but five and one feels really, really

generous to me down the stretch.

You got six games left.

I mean, the positives are you play Ole

Miss and Mississippi State at home, but clearly

that's not even really that big of a

positive because you lost today and you lost

in Red River when you had some home

crowd behind you.

I know it's 50, 50 split neutral site

field, but if those games were at Ole

Miss and at Mississippi State, it would probably

feel a lot, a lot more pessimistic.

Drew Longhorn, appreciate you comment.

We are toast this year.

Season just ended.

I think that the Longhorns are going to

have an extremely tough time making the playoff.

You got to run the table.

And not only do you have to run

the table, but you also have to get

some help from Florida and Oklahoma.

You have to hope Oklahoma either wins out

or maybe only loses one more game.

And same thing for Florida.

You're hoping Florida goes maybe five and one

or runs the table.

And at this point of Florida runs the

table, you're probably on the outside looking in

and you, you, you honestly don't want either

of those teams to run the table too

good.

Like you maybe need each of them to

lose one more game.

And then Texas got to win out.

Like it is just a very fine set

of circumstances that have to play out here.

A lot of y'all down on Manning

in the chat.

I mean, like, I don't think there's anything

to it.

I think you look at the box score.

I mean, this is a game where you

really didn't necessarily have to watch.

You just look at the box score and

you look at what Arch did against one

of the worst defensive secondaries, 14 for 20,

a buck 73.

And he turned it over.

He lost a fumble.

You don't have to look too far beyond

that to understand why Texas lost this football

game.

Only Texas beats Texas.

Zach.

I definitely thought that last week.

I don't know if I think that this

week, you guys, that's actually a good, a

good discussion point though.

Was today, Texas beating Texas or are we

really just seeing what Texas is right now?

That's a, that's actually a good point of

conversation.

It really is.

I don't think if you're really focusing on

Arch, you can say Texas beating Texas.

I just think Arch has limitations, man.

Arch has limitations at this point.

I don't know if there's any denying it.

I think we talked about on the show

last week, you know, how maybe this year

more so than last year, this year I

was waiting for that big signature game Arch

throws for 300 plus rushes for over a

hundred on the ground.

Like that Heisman moment, if you will.

Right.

I know some people were trying to gas

up multiple Arch Heisman moments earlier in the

year.

Like, I'm sorry.

I'm I'm not there.

Not seeing it enough Arch to me just

as limited.

I don't think that you're going to get

some crazy breakout from March today felt less

like Texas beating Texas.

And it did feel more like Florida beating

Texas to me, agree to disagree.

If you're not on that page, I do

think there's more talent on the Texas side.

I don't think there's really any denying that.

I think most people would agree on paper.

Texas has more talent, but I think Florida,

they scored 24 unanswered points.

Wasn't it for me?

It's really hard to say Texas beat themselves

when a team scores 24 unanswered on you.

I feel like that's taken away a lot

of credit from Florida.

You put up 24 unanswered and you didn't

even get a turnover until the fourth quarter,

right?

Like with, Oh, you, or we think about

the pick six for March, totally avoidable.

Did not have to go that way.

Florida didn't even force a turnover until the

fourth quarter there at the end of the

game.

So it's not like there were some fluke

turnovers in this one.

And you know, what's even crazier is you

had a Niblett touchdown that totally made this

game a lot closer without that Niblett tutty.

We're talking about a very embarrassing loss without

that Niblett touchdown, 27, 17, double digit victory

for Florida.

I know it's hard to do the butterfly

effect and you'll go back.

What if you didn't have the Niblett touchdown?

How does the game change?

But Florida without that special teams touchdown wins

this game comfortably by 10 plus.

I look a comment, Bobby.

What's good.

Making all the excuses after getting cooked.

This to me is just a, an overused

way overcooked line that I get incessantly after

Texas loses.

I don't understand, you know, at some point,

do we call it excuses?

Are we just telling the reasons why they

lost excuses would be like me sitting on

here saying like, they should have won.

They got robbed.

I've literally said the opposite.

So I feel like that comment's a bit

copy paste.

Like there's no excuses.

There's just reasons why the Longhorns lost today.

Excuses would be me whining about why they

didn't win and pretending like they got robbed.

In fact, when somebody actually said like Texas

beating Texas, I actually pushed back and was

like, nah, I think that they just got

beat today.

I think they got beat today.

The defense finally broke a little bit.

Simmons going out definitely doesn't help that.

Simmons is a huge part of what the

defense does.

Rushing the passer, getting that ball out quickly.

There was an interesting moment though, where you

had some commentary from the booth, essentially asking

why aren't we jamming receivers?

And why aren't we making, you know, Jones

Florida's quarterback really have to make some outstanding

throws with pressure added on felt like Texas

defense today with mush champ would have to

go back and review the tape a little

bit, but felt like we were playing some

soft coverage and allowing Jones to really get

ball out quickly in space to some of

these receivers.

I thought that was interesting.

Definitely am all for pressure and a guy

like Jones and making him get the ball

out quick, but felt like there was a

lot of soft coverage today on some of

the flat routes and Jones was just able

to dunk it, dink and dunk and just

get that ball out fast and find a

guy in pretty good space.

Oh, line is horrible.

Manning holding the ball too long.

Run zero run game.

Defense can't stop the run.

Yup.

Look the lineman issue.

It definitely is frustrating to me too.

You're the university of Texas.

You've got among the most money pumping into

your football program in college football, if not

the most, and you can't get a dominant

offensive line that can just take over games.

I mean, look, I'm a little old school

when it comes to football.

I don't think this is a super old

school thought.

I think it's still relevant in today's game,

but the game was won so many times

at the line of scrimmage.

Can you get pressure on defense?

Can you get pressure on the quarterback?

Can you get through the line and disrupt

the run game and on the flip side

on offense, you know, can you get good

push on the runs and can you pass

protect?

If you can win the game at the

line of scrimmage, you're going to do a

lot of things well.

And honestly, for Sark's offense, think about what

he likes to do.

He likes to run the football.

He likes to do the little screen plays

the linemen obviously pull and get involved with

that at different times too.

It is a little odd to me why

they haven't gone a little bit more all

in with line play.

Like if we're being honest, think about Cam

Coleman.

Cam Coleman is a guy that you need

to be getting the football to incessantly.

And Cam Coleman is just a dude in

the system right now.

I posted during the game.

Cam Coleman has to be regretting his life

choices right now.

You've got Jeremiah Smith, who's probably over a

thousand yards.

And this is not hyperbole.

I believe coming into this game, Jeremiah Smith

for Ohio State was at 900 plus yards.

Jeremiah Smith already has a thousand yards and

Cam Coleman is barely at 350.

So here's the point, bringing it full circle.

Like if you're Sark and you know what

kind of offense that you're going to run,

why did you go out and get Cam

Coleman?

It's such a mind-boggling move to me.

Why did you go out and get Cam

Coleman?

If you're not going to get him the

football, you're not going to feed him the

rock, man.

Why did you go get him?

He had three receptions today for 18 yards.

He did have a touchdown.

Why go spend so much money on Cam

Coleman?

You could have had anybody do what Cam

Coleman is doing.

You literally could have had any other receiver,

not paying them big money to do what

Cam Coleman is doing.

And in some ways, we've definitely had some

praise for Cam.

I think he's very talented, but honestly, Cam

has not been great blocking this year.

There've been a number of tape plays we've

gone back to.

Cam has not been that great in the

running game, in the screen game.

He is a guy you either need to

be feeding the football.

Otherwise, why do you have him?

I mean, this might be the reasoning here.

Appreciate the comment.

My guy comment from TikTok, they don't care.

They just didn't want anyone else to have

him.

I could roll with that.

But my thought is why not just invest

that Cam Coleman money into the best O

-line that money can buy?

That's what you need in Sark's system.

And it's like so obvious.

This has bothered me for multiple years watching

Sark's offense.

You do all this running, you do all

this dinking and dunking, and then you try

and hit the explosive plays once in a

while, you try and do the seam, up

the seam to Wingo, up the seam to

Coleman for those big chunk plays.

Occasionally, you're going down the sideline, although arches

a bit of a 50-50 shot if

we're being real on hitting those fade balls

down the sideline.

Sometimes throws a beautiful ball, looks picturesque, and

sometimes it's not even close.

I just don't get why go invest this

much money in Cam Coleman if you're not

going to feed him the football.

Three receptions for the prize of the offseason.

Literally, Cam Coleman was the guy everybody wanted

in the transfer portal.

You had A&M after him.

You had a number of big schools inquiring,

and you're only throwing him the ball.

I don't know how many targets he got

today, but he's only catching the ball three

times for 18 yards.

I mean, Jay Rich, I'm with you on

this.

TikTok comment, Sark's ruining his stock too.

I think Cam is enough of a football

specimen, if you will.

He'll be fine.

I think he's going to be okay.

But honestly, if you're Cam Coleman, do you

really want to stick around and do another

year of this?

I don't know what his eligibility is.

Maybe he'll be a guy who is gone

next year.

Clearly, he played last year.

He's a junior, so he does have senior

eligibility next year.

He has played now three seasons of college

football.

A really good year from Cam Coleman, and

you could have seen him maybe go first

round.

Feels like now he's going to have to

get the stock back up playing a senior

year.

The fact that the Longhorns just cannot figure

out an outstanding elite offensive line year in

and year out with how much money they

have is wild.

It truly is wild.

Tom says YouTube comment here, Texas messed up

when they went away from the screen.

Yeah, look, I think that as you go

back through the game, there were a lot,

a lot of those plays getting set up

early on, and then you did see less

of it as they went into more of

a hurry up style.

Hurry up is where they look the most

dangerous today.

Honestly, like that last two drives, that's where

they look the most dangerous when they were

actually hurrying it up.

Now, uh, the pre-snap stuff, Jay Rich,

uh, say in TikTok comment here, like Arch

can't do pre-reads for the, you know,

for the play when he's out there, the

pre-play snap reads, that's what we're talking

about.

I kind of felt like there was some

weird messaging there.

Like, is he even allowed to like, does

Sark even allow him to audible?

I don't think there's a lot of that

going on right now, Jay Rich.

I feel like Sark is a bit of

a short leash on Arch doing anything different

at the line of scrimmage.

That to me is something that you wish

you could get a I mean, have you

ever gotten that vibe?

Arch isn't out there, you know, commanding things,

changing the play call, talking to running backs,

talking to linemen and dude pretty much gives

the play goes, does his snap count snaps

the ball and we're off, man.

You don't see a lot of pre-snap

stuff going on with the offense.

I would think that in year four in

the program, he probably would have a little

bit more of an opportunity to do that.

Wouldn't you?

He's been around Sark for four years and

the guy can't audible at the line of

scrimmage and Jay Rich, again, don't know, don't

know exactly what the setup is.

Not sure that they'll ever tell us, but

it is weird to me.

A guy who's been in your program that

long doesn't have more capability or ability at

the line of scrimmage to change plays when

he's looking at the defense, reading the defense

before the ball is snapped.

Stunning loss.

Texas drops this one 27 to 24.

If you just hanging out with us, Texas

has an opportunity late to tie or win

the game.

Arch Manning fumbles, Trevor Goosby pulling a cam

Newton for whatever reason, not jumping on the

football, trying to pick it up, bending over.

No clue what that was all about.

Hard for me to blame Goosby in majority,

but it's not a good look.

It's just not a good look.

Now the quarterback situation.

I think that there's a lot of different

directions here that the Longhorns could go, but

let's be real.

They're not going to change quarterbacks.

I know Sark says everything's on the table.

I'll believe it when I see it, man.

I just don't think they are going to

bench Arch Manning.

I feel like there's so many different factors

that go into that decision.

I have a hard time thinking that they

are going to bench Arch Manning. Could be

wrong, but I'm not seeing it.

Y'all.

I'm just not.

It might need to happen, but I don't

think it is happening.

I mean, what you've got Lacey, you've got

Bell.

Those are the two backups.

Yeah.

Lacey and Bell.

Basically you've got Lacey red shirt freshmen.

You've got Bell freshmen.

I don't think Lacey or Bell are going

to get an opportunity in meaningful games this

year.

I would be really surprised if we see

one of those guys come in Simmons, probably

done.

I have not heard anything on Colin Simmons

who was carted off the field after an

injury.

I have heard nothing on Colin Simmons.

Let me know if you get any official

news.

I will try and stay locked in as

best as I can, but I have heard

nothing official on Simmons.

Ankle injury is what they're calling it.

Actually lower leg injury.

According to Sark Simmons actually had a pretty

good game losing him down.

The stretch was important, but it actually would

not really have mattered.

Had the offense taking care of business, you

had less than two minutes.

Offense had an opportunity to drive for a

touchdown.

Just didn't happen.

Yeah.

Mike G they're not going to bench him

because he's a Manning.

I mean, I have kind of said in

so many words and this is not anything

profound.

A lot of people have said it, but

you take the name off the back of

the Jersey and you feel like probably benched

a game or two ago or at least

more of an open competition.

The problem is you just, you have the

two freshmen, right?

You have the red shirt, freshman Lacey, and

then you have Bell, a true freshman.

So you've got freshmen behind him.

And then you've got Arch.

Who's been in the system for four years

that, and you've got the Manning name.

Of course, on top of that, that is

the tough part.

That's the part that gives you a little

pause is, are you really going to expect

to have a lot of success turning the

keys to the car over to a freshman

or a red shirt?

Freshmen?

Maybe it's possible.

I'm not saying that there's no chance that

they could have success, but I don't feel

like that is going to be a big

enough reason.

A good enough reason.

If there was like some sophomore or junior

that was right behind Manning, that's been in

the system for a little while.

I think I could see a change a

lot more likely when you've got a red

shirt, when you've got a true freshman behind,

it's definitely, I think a reason why Sark

will probably not go that direction.

I don't think Manning is going to get

benched.

Now, do I think he deserves to be

benched?

Probably.

I don't want to be too quick on

the reaction, be a prisoner of the moment,

but I would say at minimum, there deserves

to be a two quarterback package at minimum.

There deserves to be a two quarterback package.

It's almost kind of wild that Arch took

away reps here and there from Quinn Ewers.

When you, when you think about it, I

mean, when you watch like this year play

out, it's actually kind of wild that, you

know, a lot of us, myself included, we're

really wanting to see Arch get more reps

over Quinn.

It's like, man, Quinn should have just been

on the field every single down.

He should have just been out there every

single time.

And I know Arch had a few nice

plays.

Um, you know, he had one, obviously a

huge one in the A&M game

at Kyle Field a couple of years ago,

uh, two big plays, right?

So I'm not saying there was no reason

for Arch to have any packages during the

Quinn Ewers era, but it's just kind of

funny to think back on how many people

really wanted to see Arch a lot more

involved back then.

And knowing what, you know, now you're like,

how would it probably would have liked to

have seen Quinn just take over the reins

the entire time.

Keep on rolling.

Appreciate you guys.

You just joined us, Texas dropping to four

and two on the year.

It has been a rough two weeks for

the Texas Longhorns rough two weeks.

You drop Red River to your arch rival

who really was not looking very good coming

into the game.

The defense was great.

The offense was terrible.

Now, as we said, you almost have to

be rooting for OU to win some games.

Same thing for Florida.

Oh my goodness.

Tennessee dropped a wide open touchdown.

Got the Tennessee Bama game going here.

We are probably about 10 minutes away from

ending the show.

We're just hanging out talking Longhorns football.

We will preview next week against Ole Miss

a little bit too, and not feeling very

great about that game.

The home environment makes me feel slightly better,

but you saw what happened today.

Just doesn't get any easier.

Really doesn't two losses.

Ain't bad.

I do agree with that sentiment, Jordan, but

I don't feel like you are going to

be a playoff team at this point.

Even, even with two losses, the two teams

that you lost to now, you need some

help from like, even if they went out,

I feel like with two losses, you need

some help.

You need Florida and Oklahoma to go maybe

like five and one down the stretch and

be nine win teams while you're a 10

win.

Keep going.

Appreciate you guys ranked opponents coming up.

I'm with you.

It doesn't get easier.

We talked about that on the show last

week.

It just doesn't get easier.

Jacob G I'm with you.

Like this is a tough time.

Look, the Rangers had a rough year.

Cowboys are having a rough year player.

Only meetings after five games.

What?

Oh, and then you've got the Longhorns doing

this stars looking.

Okay.

They play today.

Stars are looking.

All right.

Mavericks.

Haven't quite started yet.

Getting Kyrie back will be nice.

Those are all the teams, by the way,

that we cover here on the show.

Cowboys Spurs Astros here.

Spurs are my only hope.

Hey, I'm glad we can unite on the

Cowboys, man.

I'm glad we can unite on the Cowboys

and the Horns a little bit.

Eastside, dad, what's good?

Fire Sark is already starting up.

Look, I am of the mentality.

Probably need to have the grass isn't always

greener discussion when it comes to Sark.

Like, who do you go to?

Who do you hire?

I mean, look, do you try and get

Cignetti?

I mean, that that might be the lofty.

I don't think they're going to do it.

And even next year, I don't think they

fire him.

I think the conversation is probably you need

an OC.

You are getting an OC.

Other parts of the team are suffering.

You need to be the head coach that

we need you to be.

And that is not calling plays.

You're getting an OC.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was an

ultimatum in the aftermath of the season where

Del Conte basically says OC or bust.

Don't care what we hired you for.

It's not working.

But you know what?

We like the leadership.

You brought the program back.

You brought the program back to a national

stage.

There's no denying that.

Herman years.

I mean, it was definitely up and down.

You had some big moments.

But Sarks definitely brought the program back to

the national conversation consistently.

I just think if you're Del Conte and

you missed the playoffs for a second straight

year, you're going to start and you're basically

saying, oh, see, or we got to do

something different.

Hookham Horn, 78.

We we talked about this a little bit.

Comment from TikTok.

Let's 16 transfer.

I think there is a world where they

do the Parker Livingston thing with with Arch.

They say, dude, we we love you.

We appreciate the years you put in here.

But look, you're a big name.

You could go somewhere else, get your stock

up one more year for the NFL.

But it's not working.

I don't think they're going to do it.

That that would take some balls.

I don't think they're going to do it.

I would really be surprised if Arch ended

up transferring.

That could happen, but I'm just not sure

that they are going to pull the trigger

on that.

That would take some cojones for sure.

I don't know if Sark is able to

do it.

Del Conte, same thing.

That being said.

I don't know that Arch coming back for

another year after games like this make you

feel very great, make you feel very hopeful.

I think if you fire Sark going back

to the fire Sark stuff, I'm not on

that page quite yet, just to be fair,

just to be clear here.

I'm not on that page yet, but if

you were going to fire Sark.

Right.

There's a very short list of people that

would actually make me feel like we upgraded.

Like I do think Cignetti would be a

big upgrade.

I don't want to say big upgrade.

He would be an upgrade.

Who are the other names that you would

legitimately feel better about?

If we went out and got Gabbo would

be a no for me.

Uh, Dan Lanning would be interesting, but I

don't know that Dan is willing to leave.

I know A&M tried to get

him.

Maybe Texas would hit a little different for

Dan Lanning.

Dan would make me feel.

All right.

I don't know that.

I think I might feel slightly better than

Sark in regards to Dan Lanning.

Jeff Traylor would be a wild move.

I mean, look, I I've got a lot

of respect for Traylor.

I think, I think he is a very,

very good football coach.

I'm not sure that there's enough name power

there.

I'm not saying it's right, but I don't

know if there's enough name power with Traylor.

Yes.

He's getting respect UTSA, but I don't think

there's enough name power.

I think they've got to go out and

get one of the big names to really

satisfy the fan base.

Traylor would be a big, that would, that

would really be a, I would say a

big swing in terms of the risk.

Like it could go really, really well and

Traylor could become, you know, the next Saban

or the next Cignetti there.

There's always that, but that's a risk.

It it's, it's a short list.

I think we just, I think we could

all agree on this.

There's just a very short list of coaches

that you would feel like could really replace

Sark and improve on what Sark has already

done.

And we have to be honest.

Sark has improved the program.

He's improved it.

Herman years were okay.

I think we had some big moments.

The Georgia sugar bowl game was great.

And you had some winning years under Herman,

but obviously the ending and COVID and everything

like that feel like the vibes kind of

shifted there.

I'm not sure Herman would have ever gotten

the Horns to where Sark has gotten them.

I think you got to give Sark respect

for that, but you missed the playoff two

years in a row.

You got to be on the hot seat.

Gotta be on the hot seat.

Someone was commenting about Chris Simms.

Yeah, man.

So for those of you guys that are

just tuning in for the first time, I

am pretty much good with longhorn stuff, early

nineties on.

So I actually went to the this is

a lot when I was a very young

man, went to the Texas, Nebraska, Big 12

game in St. Louis, the wide open baby

game.

I was at that game.

So you're talking basically early to mid nineties

and on I'm good for.

So yeah, I remember the Applewhite-Simms

era Simms, just never able to really win

the big game.

You would have a lot of those.

Oh, you games go sideways.

Just the big moments would always be elusive

to Chris Simms. Arch,

He has actually had some big moment games,

but Arch is just, it's a lack of

consistency.

You actually kind of felt like with Chris

Simms, he would put up big numbers at

times.

You know, Chris Simms was not doing consistent,

you know, buck 75 games through the air.

Chris Simms could, could get you the stats,

man.

He could absolutely dominate some games.

I feel like the big games, there would

be some melting with Chris, but it felt

like Chris would have his way with defenses

that he was supposed to have his way

with.

It would be the really good elite defenses

that he would struggle with Arch.

It feels like any defense you're struggling with

any defense Arch is a 50, 50 shot

to succeed and have success.

Chris Simms was Tony Romo.

That's an interesting comp, man.

I would like to dig a little deeper

into that one.

Love me some Tony Romo.

And I love Chris Simms, man.

I'm a fan.

I know Chris didn't necessarily have the success.

You would have wanted to see him have

for the name that he was and talk

about a good comparison.

Simms and Manning actually is a pretty good

comparison.

And you've got the name stuff.

You've got the dads playing football.

You've got a lot of stuff there, but

I think Simms at this point, don't you

say Simms probably a little more success than

Arch feels more successful.

I'd love to look at the numbers.

I don't want to put on the rose

colored glasses, but I feel like with Arch,

you just have not seen him really master

consistency.

Texas would have three national championships coming from

tick-tock with this defense.

If we had a decent quarterback, hard to

argue that they wouldn't be in a much

better place with different quarterback play.

We'll say that three national championships.

I get it.

Maybe we're using some hyperbole there, but still

Arch isn't the answer.

I don't, I think Arch is a manager

right now at best.

I think Arch he's going to have some

place here and there, but I don't know.

For the most part, Arch is a game

manager and he's not doing a great job

of it right now.

Hey, Barry, appreciate you, man.

Thanks for hanging out.

Love you.

Go get chip Kelly.

I don't know if Kelly's the answer either.

Y'all I really don't.

I think that right now, the issue that

you're going to have is just take it

back.

The grass isn't always greener.

You've had a lot of success with Sark.

It is a short list that is really

going to improve what we have right now.

And I mean, we're assuming that Sark is,

is going to give up play calling.

Maybe Del Conte makes him give up play

calling in the off season.

I don't think it's going to be something

that happens in the middle of the year.

Uh, bolt says at the beginning of the

season, Texas thought Archie hung the moon.

I think a lot of us were hopeful

that Arch was going to take the next

step.

I don't, I really didn't hear anybody saying

like Arch is going to win the Heisman

this year.

I mean, at least the, the Texas people

that I follow, I didn't see a lot

of that.

I feel like that's kind of just a

common clap back that people like to use

to hate on Texas, but I did not

hear a lot of fans or a lot

of the Texas people that I follow the

Texas accounts that I follow.

Didn't hear a lot of people gassing up

Arch Manning and starting the Heisman campaign.

That's just me.

I think a lot of us were hopeful

he'd take the next step, but I don't

think anybody was trying to start the Heisman

campaign for Arch.

We loved what we saw in the Michigan

game.

We all loved what we saw in the

A&M game.

I did not hear a lot of Heisman

candidacy talk when it came to Arch Manning

coming into this year as an OU fan,

I heard it a million times.

I think you're sipping too much.

Oh, you cool laid there.

I think there's more, there's more of that

coming from other people, like just self-generated

stuff than actually coming out of the fan

base.

I feel like a lot of that's made

up people, trolling people, just trying to start

stuff.

I mean, all I can tell you is

the people I talked to, nobody thought Arch

was going to be a Heisman candidate this

year.

Look, we can agree to disagree on that

one.

That's most certainly not the noise that I

was hearing, but all right.

And we, we must have different algorithms.

That's just not something that I ever thought

coming into this year.

And I would love to hear any of

y'all true Texas fans diehards.

You let me know.

Did, did we really think Arch was winning

the Heisman this year?

I feel like if you're a Horns fan

that actually has watched game in and game

out, you didn't feel confident or overly confident

that Arch was going to win the Heisman

this year.

Like I said, love to hear from the

Horns that watch game in and game out.

Did, did we really think that I think

we can make up the media narratives all

we want, but I'm talking real fans, real

fans.

That wasn't something I was hearing a lot.

Uh, yeah, thank you.

Feely fresh.

I really do feel like, and you know,

the, the trolls and the haters and stuff,

uh, look, y'all are entitled to your

opinion.

No doubt.

But every diehard that I talked to, nobody

was saying Arch Heisman.

I think we were all saying Arch positive

step forward.

Arch Heisman media generated little hype, terrifying.

I mean, that's their job.

Not a drum that I was ever banging

this year.

Bobby says I had zero faith in Archie.

I knew it was going to be rough

when Quinn was gone.

Uh, I like Arch comment from tick tock

as a person, but we need to turn

the page.

It is getting to a point where if

you lose a couple more games, that that's

going to get louder and louder.

That is going to get louder and louder.

Uh, it was media for rating.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I mean, to be fair, the comment was

that Longhorns fans were gassing up Arch

Manning as a Heisman candidate, which I pushed

back on and said, that's just not true.

I don't think it was longhorns fans gassing

that up media maybe.

Uh, but the comment, the original comment was

putting the blame on longhorns fans.

Like we hyped up Arch, like he was

going to be a no-brainer Heisman award

winner.

I don't think any diehard who actually watches

Arch Manning play game in and game out

thought that do I think it's time to

move on from Sark Joshua.

What's good.

Yeah.

I think that that conversation is only going

to get louder with more and more losses.

I personally wouldn't be a fan of them

firing him unless it got really bad this

year.

I don't want to fire him prematurely.

It's not, but six games in at this

point, I think if they lose five games

this year, it's definitely going to be a

conversation.

If they go on to win nine games,

10 games, I don't see happening, but if

they win nine games, I think it's going

to be hard to go that direction.

Now having him stop calling plays, that might

be something that CDC can get out of

him.

I don't think Sark, I mean, he can

talk a big game.

I would be surprised if Sark is going

to take his ball and go home.

If you take away play calling from him,

I just have a tough time.

If CDC came to Sark and said, we

want to get you an offensive coordinator.

We don't want you to call plays anymore.

I find it hard to believe Sark would

give up the job as the university of

Texas head coach because he can't call plays.

Maybe I'm wrong on that.

Maybe he's got enough hubris.

Maybe there's enough ego there that Sark is

going to part ways from the university of

Texas.

If they try to take away play calling,

I don't think that would be a very

good move for him.

I think CDC would be wise to at

least have the conversation and see what OCs

are out there.

If the offense continues to look like this

with the amount of money that they've pumped

into the offense, I don't think there's any

avoiding it.

Yeah, Jose.

I mean, that just wouldn't be smart from

Sark.

Again, if Del Conte comes to him and

says, dude, we like, we like you as

the head coach.

You brought us into some national prominence.

You brought us into the conversation nationally, you

know, in terms of being a consistent contender,

at least to make the playoff, make some

noise in the playoff.

And Sark has improved the program.

I can argue with a wall on that

one.

He's improved the program, but in terms of

getting the program to that level of you

are always looking like one of the best

teams in college football.

I think that's debatable.

That is a lot more debatable.

Texas beating Washington a few years.

They almost did.

Quinn almost made it happen.

That was crazy.

It darn near happened.

You had that throw at the pylon.

It almost happened.

Antonio, I tend to agree a lot of,

a lot of what's happening right now is

Arch just not seeing things out there.

It's not seeing things keep on going.

Let's just do a little bit of looking

forward to what's on deck.

Mississippi State number nine in the country they

are playing.

And today they are up seven to three.

They're playing Mizzou.

Ah, good game.

I might go and watch that one after

this number nine versus number 13.

I know Bama Tennessee is on right now.

I'd have to tune into that Mississippi State

Mizzou game, man.

They're playing in Oxford, Mizzou coming off a

big win against A&M Mizzou's coming

up next Mississippi State number nine.

And they are going to be coming to

Austin, Trinidad Chambliss, Lacy, Deuce Alexander.

We'll see how this game against Missouri goes,

but without Colin Simmons, little worried about how

the defense is going to look against that

offense, man.

They got some high octane players.

That is for sure.

I'm high octane players.

Don't know how great you can really feel

as a Longhorns fan after watching today's game

and then seeing a top 10 team in

Mississippi State or Mississippi come to town.

Mississippi State, uh, at LSU.

Yes.

Mississippi State's coming up.

My bad.

Just a misspeak on my part.

I know Ole Miss is, uh, Ole Miss

is coming to town next week.

Chambliss, Lacy, Alexander, all those guys.

Let's see what they're up to today.

Mississippi State's a little bit later on.

They, I think are two or three weeks

away, if I'm not mistaken.

So right now you already got, uh, looks

like touchdown pass, Chambliss 7 for 13, 53 yards.

Lacy already averaging 10 yards of carry against

Mizzou.

Oh my goodness.

Alexander's two for 11 Lacy, 10 yards of

carry against Mizzou's defense.

Uh, yeah.

Bell in the waiting.

I just Antonio, I don't know if they're

going to go to Bell going to the

true freshmen over a guy that's been in

the system for four years.

It's just hard for me to see it

really hard for me to see it.

Uh, a coach's call you talking about Ole

Miss on the road.

Are you talking about the Horns on the

road?

Ole Miss on the road, different team.

Yeah, I do think there's an argument there.

Although I mean one game, right?

Let's see on the road at Florida, they

got bounced.

They played on the road at Vanderbilt.

I mean, it is Vandy granted, but they

won pretty healthy at Vanderbilt at Texas.

That's going to be a big game.

This reminds me of 2001 to Oh three,

when everyone was saying fire Mack Brown, I

kind of tend to agree with that.

That's actually, we've been making comps to the

early two thousands.

Like I'll show along, we were doing the

Chris Simms, Arch Manning comp we're doing now

we're doing the Mack Brown, early two thousands

with the, with the Sark comp in 2026.

It's actually, they're, they're not bad comparisons.

I do feel like it's premature to fire

Sark the play calling.

How much is Arch?

How much is him?

I feel like coming off of this game,

just total prisoner of the moment.

It feels it's a little more Arch right

now than Sark with the offense, but Sark

decides who plays quarterback Sark decides when to

go forward on fourth down.

There were a couple of questionable fourth down

decisions today from Sark.

There really were one of my biggest takeaways,

which I actually posted about was, I can't

remember the last time I felt this dejected

on third and fourth down.

Like if it's third and long, I just

feel like are like no chance.

They're going to get it.

I don't know what they were on third

down today.

Let's check it out.

Texas on third down today was two for

10 and they were one for three on

fourth down.

So you were three for 13, three for

13.

You know what else is wild?

I'm watching Tennessee right now.

I mean, Texas is a hail Mary away,

a bad hail Mary, a failed hail Mary

away from being a three loss team.

They almost blew that game to Tennessee.

And I know that's been in my mind,

but finally came to me today on the

show.

It could get bad.

It could still go okay for the Horns

the rest of the year.

It could get bad.

We'll see what kind of team they are

and how they come out against Ole Miss.

That is going to tell us a lot

how they respond against Ole Miss after two

embarrassing back-to-back losses.

Ohio State was another one that that's a

good point.

A coach's call.

Appreciate all the comments today, man.

That that's a good point.

They, they could be a four loss team.

If things just go a little differently against

Tennessee and Ohio State in that wild.

All right, y'all.

Hey, look, we will have content out to

you guys.

Longhorns content throughout the week.

We will definitely be back next week, right

around eight 30 or so, probably Texas time

during the fourth quarter.

We always try and go live.

So we will surely be back for that

game.

Hopefully we'll be talking about a much better

result.

But for those of you that followed today

on the show, thank you so much.

I really appreciate it.

We cover a number of different teams on

the channel, by the way.

So don't be surprised.

We cover the Rangers, a lot of DFW

teams.

That's where I'm originally from Arlington, Dallas, Fort

Worth area.

So we cover the Rangers, the Mavs, the

Cowboys, the stars and the Longhorns.

And so you will see a variety of

content coming out of the channel.

Just to give you a fair warning.

We'll have a couple of videos out related

to Texas and the game today and also

the game next week.

Thank you so much though, for everybody that

chimed in today.

Helps make the show fresh.

Appreciate all you guys.

Helps bring more eyes to the channel as

well.

So much.

Thanks.

I don't take any support of the show

for granted.

Look, and we're here.

Rain or shine, week in and week out.

It's not just after the big wins.

We didn't just show up against Ohio State

and then, you know, we hide when they

take an L that's never what we're going

to do here on the show.

Not my favorite thing to do.

Get on here and talk about losses, but

I definitely, definitely serves as a bit of

therapy for me.

I think a lot of us need it

after these two weeks.

My goodness.

Hopefully Arch Manning can figure it out.

Maybe they'll have another really good Wednesday practice.

We, we got so many big headlines this

week about how good the practices were going

for Texas.

Sure.

Translated well to the game on Saturday, didn't

it?

But I digress.

Hope you guys have a great rest of

your Saturday.

Hopefully you can enjoy some better college football.

There's some good games going on around the

league today.

You will see me again tomorrow night.

We will be live after the Cowboys Packers

game.

So if you're a Cowboys fan, or you

just want to come and talk ball or

a dunk on the Cowboys after, after their

game at Lambeau, come on back and hang

out, man.

We'll be here.

So appreciate all you guys.

Have a good Saturday.

And as I always say to end every

show, God bless and Hook 'Em.
