Cowboys Finally Trust the Run, Beat the Eagles

Hi and welcome to another edition of Right

on Rangers Live coming at you fourth quarter.

Cowboys putting it together on the road.

Sight for sore eyes and a bit of

an unusual occurrence at times over the last

few seasons.

Dallas looking sharp here in this second half.

Clearly first half defense allowing the Eagles to

stay in the ball game but you have

seen them clamp down here late.

Big interception by Overshown first game back after

injury.

Von Miller getting in the mix right now.

Everything clicking for Dallas here late at the

link here in Philly.

A lot to talk about tonight.

A lot of positives of course and it

looks like McKee is going to go down

once again.

Quinnen Williams getting in the action and the

Cowboys pouring it on here late in the

fourth quarter as Saquon looks on.

We have 548 left in this ball game

and look a lot could happen.

I'm not going to say too much.

You never know in this sport what can

transpire in a short amount of time but

it is looking good.

It's good to be talking to y'all

in the midst of at least a winning

score for now.

For now, 3rd and 17.

Eagles are going to be fourth in double

digits here and looks like they are going

to have to go for it.

Cowboys may be able to tack on to

this one should they be able to get

a stop here.

Appreciate all y'all hanging out here at

Right on Rangers.

We cover everything Texas sports but we put

a huge emphasis on the Cowboys during the

NFL season.

We thank you for choosing Right on Rangers

for all of your Cowboys content and Dallas

is going to get off the field on

fourth down once again.

You have just a big time night and

day difference with this defense in the second

half.

It has looked so much better.

Cowboys have held the Eagles under 300 yards.

We understand the backup quarterback and the lack

of some top receivers make a big difference.

Saquon a little bit iffy with his health

as well.

We understand.

I think we're going to take what we

can get with this defense though at this

point in the season.

I think we're going to go ahead and

take what we can get a good child.

What's good YouTube comment?

Where was this all game?

I mean that if they had the effort

in this second half defensively in the first

half.

Yeah, this would be a blowout central Dak

and company starting from the 17 yard line.

Dak's going to pitch it out to Javonte

who maybe gains about a yard on the

play.

And look, this is the nervy times for

some of y'all fantasy owners out there.

You hoping for some garbage points?

I got Dak Prescott who I think has

barely won me my week of fantasy football.

I think I'm up by one.

Can't imagine Dak's going to do anything stupid

right here.

I'll knock on wood just in case, you

know how it goes.

CeeDee Lamb off and out of the game.

Cowboys got Ferguson in the eye form.

Okay.

They're, they're motioned him out.

I was about to say Fergie baby in

the eye form, another run to Javonte.

He is not going to get much man.

Oh, and he is slammed down.

Yikes.

He maybe gets another yard.

It's going to be third and long here.

Brandon Aubrey might be getting that leg warmed

up.

Philly's going to call time out here.

So we'll have a chance to pause.

Hope y'all had a great Monday and

it's definitely getting a little bit better with

what we're seeing on the football field tonight.

If it was one of those Mondays for

you, Brian, a YouTube comment says a Brandon

Aubrey field goal.

And I win fantasy this week.

This is the nitty gritty.

I'm telling you the garbage time late Monday

night football.

This is the nitty gritty right now.

I'm sure there's a few more people sweating

it out.

You got maybe some Eagles defense, Cowboys defense

people.

I don't know.

Does, does anybody have the Cowboys defense?

I was going back and forth with this

with a couple of buddies at work.

Does anybody actively employ the Cowboys defense on

their fantasy team?

I mean, maybe you're going up against the

Eagles.

So you decide to ride with it.

Eagles have the backup quarterback.

Otherwise it is anybody using the Dallas Cowboys

defense that that's actually trying to win Javonte.

Williams is going to power it for a

first down here.

Oh no, Brian, nobody.

This is the last thing you need.

Cowboys are going to most likely they're going

to have to score one way or the

other.

They're either going to get stopped a field

goal touchdown, or they're going to get stopped

here.

There's not a way to run out the

clock with the down that they currently have

in the first and goal.

Eddie.

What's good, man.

Thank you so much.

Appreciate the comment, brother.

Thank you for the likes as well, man.

Definitely helpful.

Hey, if you haven't hit that thumbs up

button, haven't hit that heart, go ahead and

do so, man.

It helps spread the show out to other

people.

Would love to continue to grow this show

as much as I possibly can.

And you guys are a big part of

that.

So thank you.

So the defense definitely going to take this

as a win.

I can't say it's looked great at times,

but I'm definitely going to take this as

a win.

I'm not going to sit here and proclaim

something amazing, but man, they finally did what

they needed to do, which is just keep

Tanner McKee in check, please.

189 yards through the air for the Eagles

backup quarterback and interception.

Okay.

You had to make him beat you.

I will say with Saquon reeling off that

huge run early in the game, really thought

it was going to be a long night.

I'm like, if we can't stop the run

with a backup quarterback at the helm, this

is just going to be an awful abysmal

night in Philly.

And then the defense clamped down on him,

Javonte motor in his way.

He is trying to get this touchdown.

He is trying right now.

He's about the only one that doesn't have

a touchdown at this point so far, a

Dak through the air, three tutties, and two

of them have gone to one of them

to pickens.

It's time for Javonte to get in the

game.

He's got 150 yards.

Let's put the cherry on top right now.

Come on, baby.

Two minutes and 40 seconds ticking down third

and goal, man.

It's the Eagles.

Go for it.

Go for the touchdown, please.

Brian, I know you need the field goal.

Go for the touchdown here.

Come on.

Third down, fourth down.

Why not?

Here's Javonte.

Touchdown, baby.

The Cowboys extend the lead 37 to 21.

Javonte Williams goes off on the arch rival

Eagles, 150 plus on the ground, adds in

a touchdown, 6.2 yards per carry.

And he has definitely helped to seal this

one here on the road on Monday Night

Football.

Schotty loving it.

Everything going right for the Cowboys here in

the second half.

Good stuff, baby.

Needed this win.

Needed this win.

Brandon Aubrey puts it through, and it is

38-21 with two minutes and 21 ticks

left.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Yes, sir.

Glad to be hanging out with all y

'all.

Glorious Monday Night Football.

These primetime spots have not been kind to

the Cowboys.

I was seeing on Monday Night Football, they

flashed a stat that the Cowboys have lost

their last five primetime spots.

Last five?

I mean, look, the last Cowboys game I

went to was a Monday Night Football game.

It was actually last year in Vegas.

Some of you guys know I live out

in Vegas, been out here for about the

last 15 years or so.

Almost two decades.

It's crazy to think about getting old.

But I went to the Monday Night Football

game.

That was the infamous C.D. and George

Pickens staying out too late game where they

got benched for what, the first series?

Still ended up cruising.

I think they each had a touchdown in

that game.

I had an amazing time at Allegiant with

my brother-in-law who got me the

tickets.

One of his best friends had some amazing

seats right there.

I want to say second or third row

in the corner of the end zone.

Experience of a lifetime, truly.

It made it even sweeter that the Cowboys

actually won that Monday Night Football game.

I think that's the last time the Cowboys

have won a primetime spot.

If I'm just doing the math in my

head, that has to have been the last

time.

Glad that they got it done.

Next week, we are playing the Cardinals.

Man, we're going to preview that game here

in a little bit.

I can't say I really ever feel great

about playing the Cardinals.

You shouldn't feel that way, but the Cardinals

just have a way of just being an

absolute nuisance to you at the worst possible

time.

I'm not taking anything for granted going into

next week's matchups with Arizona.

Like I said, we'll go through it.

We'll preview a two-minute warning here.

38-21, boys, if you're just joining us,

holla.

Let's go.

Dak Prescott, man, has he thrown some dimes

tonight or what?

I know there are some people, some Cowboys

fans that are out on Dak Prescott.

I don't want to proclaim or crown Dak

after one game.

I don't think that's the right thing to

do.

Don't be a knee-jerk reactionist.

Man, some of the throws that he made

tonight, I posted this, tweeted this out about

half an hour before I got on the

show tonight.

It's just not that many quarterbacks in the

NFL that are making some of the throws

that Dak made tonight.

The one to Lamb in the corner of

the end zone, the one to George Pickens

in the other corner of the end zone,

man, it's just a thing of beauty when

he is in rhythm.

Beautiful, beautiful balls from Dak Prescott tonight.

He's had some off moments.

I mean, look, you're not going to have

a perfect ball game.

You're really not.

There's going to be some ugly moments in

everybody's game out there on the football field,

but Dak tonight really showing off.

And I think it's worth a discussion.

This man owns the NFC East.

He does.

There's a number of different stats you can

point to.

I will definitely try and run the numbers

while we're on the live here, but this

man owns the NFC East.

It is ridiculous how successful he has been

against the division opponents, the division rivals at

home on the road.

It doesn't matter.

He finds ways to win these football games.

And I know that the pushback, I know

the rebuttal is going to be the NFC

East isn't very good.

And you definitely have an argument there, but

at the end of the day, you're in

the division that you're in.

You can only play the teams that are

on the schedule and look, it's the NFL.

You cannot take any Sunday for granted.

Dak takes care of business when you have

to, when you need to.

And this was a big game.

You did not want to drop to two

and five.

You did not want to drop to two

and five.

You now improved to three and four, two

and two on the road.

I believe like, it's not a great spot

to be in at three and four, but

fortunately when you play in the NFC East,

you have a shot at least this year,

at least in 2026, you've got a shot.

This is the AFC West of the national

football league, man.

It is a bad division.

And fortunately the Cowboys are playing in it.

Here is a drop from the Eagles third

and four.

And they are, I'm sure going to continue

on in four down territory.

A couple of snaps here.

Yeah.

Look at the NFC East.

You have the giants up top.

The giants, unfortunately was gunning for the Texans,

man.

Really was hoping the Texans were going to

pull out that game.

They were not able to the, the fighting

JJ McCarthy is able to get it done.

Unfortunately, but nevertheless, I mean, look, the Cowboys,

we talked about it on the show last

week.

You know, you just continue to win football

games.

You're going to be fine.

It is going to work out.

You've got another game against the giants and

the giants.

They have tougher opponents ahead.

We're going to look at the schedules, but

it's going to work out.

If you take care of business, Fred Redwood's

good man.

YouTube comment.

Two minutes is plenty of time to come

back.

I appreciate the fighting spirit.

My guy really do.

And the sarcasm is on point.

Absolutely on point fourth and four.

Let's see if the defense can get on

the field.

We can do a little victory formation here,

baby.

Here's a snap McKee and the shotgun empty

set.

He is going to get this one to

one of his wide receivers.

That's lemon on the catch.

And it is going to be a fresh

set of downs here.

So unlikely the Cowboys are going to get

to win this one with the offense on

the field, but I think we'll, I think

we'll be all right with it.

We'll make it work.

We'll make it work.

Dak Prescott, great ball game from him.

118.1 passer rating.

We're talking about Dak's dominance over NFC East

opponents and everybody loving it on the sideline.

That's what winning does.

This is what winning does.

You, you have everything get magnified when you

lose, when you win, this is what it

can do for you.

All smiles.

Everything looks a little bit better.

Every facet of the game looks a little

bit better.

Everything's better when you win.

It just is.

Here's a snap.

McKee winds up going to complete one at

about midfield here.

Don't think there's any, the over has already

been achieved.

It was 43 and a half on the

over under that that's out the window Cowboys

coming into this game.

I believe we're three and a half, four

and a half favorites.

So nothing with the spread here either.

Nothing really in doubt, just garbage time.

Fantasy points at this point, 20 seconds left.

That might be the last play.

Let's see if the Eagles want to run

one more CeeDee Lamb.

They're showing him on the screen now, 74

yards.

I mean, nothing, nothing gaudy.

I mean, honestly, nothing gaudy.

Here's a little swing pass.

This will end the ball game.

Look, here's my big takeaway.

Cowboys are going to win this one.

38, 21.

Here's my big takeaway.

The Cowboys came into this game, rushing the

football, dead last, the least amount of rush

attempts in the NFL.

No cap, no lie here.

Cowboys had the least amount of rushing attempts

in the NFL coming into this game.

And tonight, what did they come out and

do?

They run it 38 times to 27 throws

and they get 204 yards on the ground.

The, you know, the thing that we've all

been begging Brian Schottenheimer to do all season

long, run the football.

You finally did it.

And you end up winning a row game

over in arch rival.

Javonte, what a pickup.

I know I've said this in past lives,

but I want to harp on this and

I will harp on it all season because

we hear a lot of crap about Jerry

and Stephen Jones and we will continue to

do so.

And trust me, I am not a Jerry

or a Steven apologist, but you have to

give them a ton of credit for Javonte

Williams.

Javonte Williams, great pickup last year, a guy

who you got on a one-year deal.

I know there were a few other teams

that were interested in his services.

Cowboys were able to secure them.

He had a great 2025.

He's having a great 2026.

You rewarded him in the off season.

You actually paid him, got him a little

bit of a multi-year deal.

Javonte Williams is absolutely one of those pieces

that you give that you turn in.

You give a little credit to Jerry Jones

and Stephen Jones for what they found in

Javonte.

Yeah.

You had Tony Pollard letting him go and

he is still doing good things for Tennessee.

After that, you had Rico Dowdle.

Dowdle did some big things last year.

Not sure what he's up to this year.

I know he's definitely still doing his thing.

Not sure if he's having an amazing year

or not.

I'll have to look up Rico stats, but

they have just not missed a beat in

the department.

Really think about this.

This is, I think, a big piece of

credit that you can give.

If you're looking for a positivity year in

this front office, they have nailed it with

the running backs over the last several years.

They just have.

Look, Zeke, obviously, he was starting to fade

out there at the end, but you had

Rico Dowdle.

You passed it before that, Tony Pollard.

Then you have, after Rico, Javonte Williams doing

his thing.

Front office has really gotten the running backs

right.

I will give all the credit in the

world for that.

Have they gotten everything else right?

Absolutely not.

The defense, that is leaving something to be

desired.

You're putting an emphasis on offense, obviously.

It's a very solid offensive unit.

It didn't look good a week ago.

Sure didn't look good against the Packers a

week ago, but it looks a lot better

tonight.

Running backs, going to be the key, I

think, moving forward for this offense.

When you can get Javonte Williams running the

football like this, and hey, credit to Tyler

Goodson as well.

Tyler Goodson, 10 carries for 38 yards, 3

.8 per attempt.

This is the recipe right here.

You got to run the football.

Doesn't mean you have to do 38 to

27, 38 rushes to 27 throws.

Doesn't mean you have to do that every

game, but this balanced attack, you just got

to piece this together logically here.

When you control the running game, you control

the line of scrimmage and you have an

effective back like Javonte Williams.

When you have a bad defense, this is

everything.

It is everything to have a great rushing

attack when you have an average to below

average defense.

And the Cowboys are obviously in the latter

half of that.

It's a below average defense, but if you

can control the clock, you can take ticks

off of the scoreboard and you can wear

down the opponent, keep their offense off the

field.

This is the key.

Glad Schotty figured it out tonight.

The 55, however many times Dak threw it

at Lambeau, 55 to less than 20 rushing

attempts was ridiculous.

Glad they corrected it and got it right.

Matt YouTube comment here.

This is the Dallas Cowboys team that needs

to show up every Sunday.

Amen, brother.

Amen.

Eric, what's good?

Yes, sir.

Good Cowboys win today.

Kachow was wondering why Barham wasn't mentioned much.

Yeah.

Overshown being back is going to do a

number on Barham's playing time.

Barham.

I mean, look, honestly, he, he played, I

think serviceably with Overshown out, but Overshown is

just a different animal.

He's just a different animal out there.

He is so quick.

He is active in both the run defense

in the pass defense game.

He had two pass deflections today.

Of course he had the interception.

It was a very well-rounded night for

Overshown who led the team and tackles.

How about that?

DeMarvion Overshown leading the team and tackles

in his return.

And look, tackles is not everything.

I think we have to contextualize a little

bit.

Leading the team in tackles does not mean

that you were the most impactful player out

there, but in this case, I think there's

an argument for DeMarvion Overshown being

the most impactful defender at a tackle for

loss, two pass deflections had the interception.

Uh, look, it had six total tackles.

I think there's a very valid argument that

he was the most valuable player on defense

tonight.

No doubt.

Jermaine event.

We didn't boys.

Yes, sir.

Appreciate you hanging out brother.

Bruce.

What's good comment from TikTok.

Do I think we need a pass rusher?

I mean, that would be an extremely helpful

thing for this defense right now.

You need an edge rusher.

And I know that a lot of people

naturally go to, well, you know, you shouldn't

have gotten rid of Micah, but there's so

much more that goes into the Micah Parsons

trade.

You know, there, there was so much money

involved.

Did you really want to make Micah Parsons?

One of the highest paid players on the

team.

I think they still did the right thing

with the Micah Parsons trade.

And in my opinion, Micah wasn't helping you

in the rushing defense game.

You were getting gashed left and right.

And tonight I think you see the vision

with getting Kenny Clark, with getting Quinnen

Williams, you shut down.

Saquon Barkley.

He had the 29 yard at the beginning

of the game, the 29 yarder.

After that, he's only able to put up

33 yards on six carries.

I mean, look, that that's still a pretty

good average, but nevertheless, the, the Cowboys really

limited Saquon tonight.

I know they ate up some yardage, 25

carries for 121 yards.

It's not perfect, but look, you would be

seeing some gaudy numbers at times with the

Cowboys defense from a couple of years ago.

Micah Parsons, a dynamic player, one of the

best rushers in the NFL.

Nobody's taking the shine off in that regard,

but I think the Cowboys need to make

it a priority.

I don't think though you can really do

a trade cleanly.

You know, Micah Parsons, definitely a player that

you'd love to have on your team, but

at what price and at what cost in

a vacuum?

Yeah, sure.

It'd be great to have him out there,

but when you consider all the money you'd

have to pay him, when you consider you

probably don't have a very good defensive line,

it definitely changes the perspective for me, Brad.

What's good.

Let's go Dallas.

Yes, sir.

Appreciate the comment, man.

John Q YouTube offensive line is not the

same as before.

And it shows me, look, the, the O-

line was doing some work today.

You definitely, you'll have some room for improvement.

I don't think there's any doubt about that,

but it's hard for me to get on

the O-line too much when they help

get 212 yards on the ground and Dak

Prescott wasn't sacked one time.

I mean, look, one of my best friends,

um, from high school, we're, we're all in

a chat.

We all text her in the Cowboys game.

I mean, he said, have you ever seen

Dak's Jersey?

So clean in that Jersey, Dak Prescott tonight,

uh, white as snow, man, that, that thing

had, I think zero, zero grass, stayed zero

dirt on it.

And the joke was in the chat, man,

you might not even be able to really

pass that off as a game worn Jersey.

That's how clean Dak's uniform was after this

ball game.

I'm looking at it right now.

Looks like it's fresh out the laundry.

I mean, this dude was just totally comfortable

back there in the pocket.

You had a couple of nervy moments.

I mean, Dak alluded a couple of sacks

really nicely with great footwork, but the O-

line doesn't allow a sack and they help

the team rush for 200 plus yards.

Definitely.

Oh, John Q, my bad, man.

John Q, my bad.

I was thinking you were talking Cowboys Eagles.

I mean, yeah, there there's definitely something to

be desired there.

Uh, I, I totally agree with you on

that.

That's my bad, man.

Sometimes it's hard during the live man.

We're going back and forth quick.

I missed something.

Tommy, good game, brother.

I know that probably was hurtful to watch.

Uh, do I think we'll go after Josh

swept from the Cardinals, Matt?

It's going to be interesting, you know, trade

deadline and just, uh, guys that are on

the block, you know, it definitely is, uh,

I think going to play out here over

the next couple of weeks.

We'll see what happens.

Always an interesting time in the NFL season.

Here's what I know.

The Cowboys need to get better defensively.

If you really want to have a shot

in January, in February, I know I did,

you know, don't kill me.

I know, I know I'm getting a little

bit lofty here.

How about I stick with January?

I'll stick with January.

You're going to have to get better on

the defensive side of the football, man.

There there's no doubt about it.

And so that to me, it doesn't matter

who it is.

Tuesday, November 10th is the deadline by the

way.

So we're about a week, two weeks, two

weeks away.

I really need to see the Cowboys seriously

consider upgrading Maxx Crosby.

I mean, look, the, the Raiders have lost

four in a row.

You wonder if Maxx Crosby is going to

be another name that pops up.

That's that feels like one of the missing

pieces.

I don't know what you have to give

up to get max.

I really don't know, but that feels like

a missing piece.

Look, Josh Sweat, Ethan, appreciate the comment here.

A lot of reports saying Dallas is ready

to trade 2028 third for Josh Sweat.

I would be thrilled with Josh Sweat as

well, but I know the Maxx Crosby talks

are probably going to be heating up again.

You, you know, that's going to happen.

Jonathan Taylor on the trade block.

I mean, the Cowboys don't need them.

I'm just interested.

He got a, or did he get a

E okay.

This, this headline was like totally faking me

out for a second.

It said Vikings add Jonathan Taylor to boost

offense.

I read it too quickly.

I was like, what the Vikings got Jonathan

Taylor?

No, no, no.

This is just somebody doing some matchmaking with

trades.

Come on now.

I got click baited.

Happens to the best of us.

I'm getting old.

That's how you know, you're getting old.

Hayden says a TikTok on my Josh

is a cowboy by Wednesday morning.

Look, I would love to have Josh on

the club.

I think defense has got to be what

you lock in on.

There's not a lot that you can want

for offensively.

I love what they're getting from Spann-Ford

in the tight end game.

I know Fergie's been a little up and

down.

I love what they're getting from Spann-Ford.

I really, really like what he brings.

Love his game.

You're good in the running game.

You got one of the better quarterbacks in

the league.

I know that people love to have the

top five, top seven, top 10 argument with

Dak Prescott.

Look, he's one of the best quarterbacks in

the league.

I will continue to say that.

I know there's a lot of people that

are not on team Dak, but I am,

I'm not at all ignorant to the fact

that he has struggled in the post season

to really put forward his best foot.

It's a team sport, but you need quarterbacks

to rise above.

And I can't say Dak has done that

perfectly in the playoffs, but you're just not

going to get a lot better than Dak.

That that is the hard reality here.

There's so many quarterbacks in the league that

I would not prefer over Dak Prescott.

He's just brings a level of consistency that

you appreciate, especially if you've been a Cowboys

fan in the post Superbowl era, early two

thousands.

They look before we got Romo, we were

going through some dark times there early two

thousands, man.

I mean, look, I kind of still love

some of those players, you know, your, your

Quincy Carters and Clint Stoerners and all those

guys, your Chad Henson's all those men.

I got a soft spot in my heart

for those dudes, but look, you know, and

we know it's not easy to find a

quarterback that has success in this league at

the rate that Dak does.

And again, does the playoffs enter into this

conversation?

Of course it does.

But nevertheless, there's not a lot of quarterbacks

in the league that are attainable that you're

really going to be upgrading with over Dak.

And Dak was great tonight, showed off the

arm talent, but didn't really have to throw

the ball a whole lot.

Fortunately, man, he probably had to put that

arm on ice after everything that he had

to accomplish in that Sunday night game at

Lambeau, throwing the football 55 times.

I'm glad that they took a little heat

off him, really emphasize the running game.

It's good stuff.

Michael, I'm with you.

I don't care that the Eagles are injured.

I do not care.

Anytime you beat an arch rival, anytime you

beat Philly, it's a good night.

I know there's going to be some people

trying to take the shine off this game.

You know, the injuries, blah, blah, blah.

It doesn't matter to me.

It doesn't just win baby.

And when you beat the Eagles, when you

just win against the Eagles, it's even sweeter.

This is the question though.

Cubby bear.

What's good.

Appreciate the comment.

I already said this.

I actually am more worried about the Cardinals

game.

And look, we've got some PTSD from past

Cardinals games.

I feel like the Cardinals are just one

of those pesky teams, man.

Like when you need a game just to,

to totally be a cakewalk, they go ahead

and make it your peskiest, most annoying game

of the season Cardinals.

I'm definitely not taking them for granted.

Absolutely not.

Hey, look, if you're having fun, hanging out,

if you've enjoyed listening to the conversation, we'd

love if you hit that follow button.

I know a bunch of you guys have

so far.

Thank you to the people that have followed,

whether you're on X, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok,

man, I appreciate it.

This is what we do every week.

We talk Cowboys football.

I usually go live fourth quarter.

We also cover a number of other teams

here on the channel.

We cover the Longhorns for college football and

other college sports.

We cover the Rangers for baseball, the Mavs,

what a game by the Mavs winning in

Miami tonight, Cooper Flagg, the freaking dog, man,

that dude has ice in his veins at

19 years of age, Cooper Flagg taken over

late against Giannis in the Heat.

That was fun to go split screen with

tonight.

Y'all what a game from the Dallas

Mavericks tonight, Dallas Cowboys followed up with a

38 21 win of their own.

Appreciate all you guys hanging out though.

Thank you so much for all the ways

you support the channel.

All right, let's keep rolling with it.

We got a few other things to talk

through.

I'm going to continue to take the chat

as much as I possibly can.

Matt, I'm with you on that Tampa Bay

game.

Absolutely.

You thought Tampa Bay earlier this year at

home was going to be light work and

you got embarrassed.

Don't take any team for granted at this

point.

No team for granted.

They got CeeDee up here.

SBPs got CeeDee in the mix.

Heck yeah, man.

I'll turn them on in the background.

Let me know if he says anything.

Yeah, I always like that to quieting the

crowd.

I mean, look, I can't pretend like I

played on the stages anywhere close to what

CeeDee has, but I will agree with him

playing on the road.

When you get to quiet the crowd, there's

nothing like it.

Gary, what's up, my friend?

Good to see you, brother.

TikTok comment here.

Been a great sports night.

If you're a DFW sports fan, absolutely.

Hell yeah, it's been a good sports night.

You've got the Mavericks winning a big game

over the heat.

You got the Cowboys cleaning up against the

arch rival Eagles.

True.

Is it our year?

No, I'm not going there yet.

I'm not going there yet.

I love what I saw tonight.

I'm not going there yet.

Here's what I do know though.

Cowboys play in a division that that lends

itself to making the playoffs without having an

incredible record.

And that was true in the MLB season

with the Rangers.

And we just don't skip a beat moving

over to the Cowboys.

We've got the AFC West.

We've got the NFC East, just not great

divisions, but we'll take it.

We will take it.

I definitely am not going to complain.

Cowboys still trailing the giants in the NFC

East, but they have another game against New

York at home later on this year.

And there's so much football left to be

played right now.

You got 10 games left.

That's an eternity in the NFL giants.

Look, they definitely have some good players.

You've seen a good fighting spirit, I think

from New York as well.

They're not a team that's going to roll

over very easily.

Beatable team, but definitely well coached John Harbaugh.

I think showing you that what he brings

travels, doesn't matter what city he's in Baltimore,

New York, what he does for a living,

it travels well.

And so I'm not putting any, I'm not

counting any wins before they happen.

The giants later on when they come to

Dallas, when they come to Arlington.

Yeah, I'm not going to count that one

as a win before the game is played.

I'll just tell you that I'll put it

that way.

Gary says, how do we get Buckner from

Indy or Mac from the Chargers still need

a pass rusher?

Gary, a lot of people are talking about

Joshua from the Cardinals.

Look, I'm just reading through different trade rumors.

Obviously, Maxx Crosby is always going to be

brought up when it comes to the Cowboys

at this point.

It's been going on so long.

Yeah, at this point, I am hopeful that

the Cowboys make some noise.

They got to go get an edge rusher.

Hey, what's good, man.

TikTok comment here.

My buddy, Brian Jones, say go big blue.

There you go.

There you go.

Hey, go Cowboys, man.

Thanks for hanging out.

Hey, look, it's a good night to be

a Dallas Cowboys fan.

We have already run the gamut.

We got about 20 minutes left in the

show.

Last 10, we're going to dedicate to next

week's matchup.

Cowboys are going to be playing the Cardinals

at AT&T.

After that, you go to Indianapolis and then

a big matchup with the San Francisco 49ers

that just dropped their first game to the

Falcons.

That is still a ways away here, but

Cowboys do not have a primetime game for

a while.

They do not have a primetime game for

a little while yet.

The next five weeks, next five weeks are

going to be afternoon, either early or late

window afternoon games.

So it's going to be a second before

we see another night game with the Cowboys.

Good job.

What's good?

Appreciate all the comments today.

My guy, always good to see you.

We need more appreciation for the O-line

today.

Not a single play went for a loss

of yards.

I was singing the praises earlier.

You don't allow Dak Prescott to be sacked.

That uniform was crisp, clean, so fresh and

so clean, man.

That uni, again, it's going to have a

hard time being sold as game worn.

That's the kind of night that Dak Prescott

had back there, slinging the football.

Great job by the O-line, over 200

yards on the ground.

You got to give them credit.

Have to give them credit when you have

that strong of a performance.

Yeah, look, six weeks in a row, I'm

trying, my computer is going haywire on me

right now.

They don't have another night game until December

27th, which I believe is a Sunday night

game against the Jaguars at home.

But man, they do not have, that is

crazy.

It is week 15?

Wild.

Absolutely wild.

Hey, look, they do have that Thanksgiving game.

I guess you can consider that prime time,

but you know what?

I lied.

515, they've got Seahawks at 515 on the

7th.

Lied to you.

Still, you got about a month and a

half off from prime time spots, minus the

Thanksgiving game.

Prime time has not been kind to the

Cowboys, so hey, I don't know if this

is a good thing or a bad thing,

but either way, it is what it is.

All right, we'll keep checking the chat.

Got a few more things to close on.

Like I said, we'll be going through the

Cardinals and what they bring to the table

next week at home.

I do think, as you consider all of

the positives of tonight, we want to definitely

err, I think, on the side of positivity.

The Cowboys, you can only play who's on

the schedule.

Eagles are definitely wounded right now, but you

took care of business.

Defense, much, much better play.

I think that you definitely have some things

that you can nitpick, and we definitely break

things down from all angles here on the

show.

Don't shy away from the criticism when it's

due.

I will say, early on in that third

quarter, the Eagles opening up with that 17

play, 84-yard touchdown drive that took nearly

10 minutes, not what you wanted to see

coming out of halftime.

You had the Eagles, I think, moving the

football freely at times, but the Cowboys in

that fourth quarter just got a number of

big stops that proved to be the difference

in the ballgame.

This game, though, what it proves for me,

the offense shows that it can respond to

adversity.

You had a really bad game at Lambeau

last week, and it was a much more

balanced approach.

Dak, I think, was all the more better

for it.

He was not asked every single time to

drop back and throw the football.

Javonte Williams really taking a lot of heat

off of Dak today and the passing attack.

Great response from the offense.

Dak really distributed the ball effectively.

He avoided the interceptions, and that obviously really

hurt Dallas in recent games.

Dak just looked like a much more confident

quarterback back there.

At Lambeau, just looked like he was missing

some zip.

The decision-making was a little off.

It was just not a clean effort all

the way around from Dallas up in Green

Bay.

But tonight, you win in Philadelphia, and for

a team that was 2-4 entering into

this ballgame, it's big to be 3-4

instead of 2-5.

And you're even with the Philadelphia Eagles coming

into this one.

Now you pull a game ahead.

You have some tiebreakers now on the table

for you.

Look, one good offensive performance doesn't erase issues

that we've seen with this offense, with the

play calling.

Doesn't erase them completely.

Doesn't negate some of the defensive limitations as

well.

Definitely, though, I think you'll take what you

got tonight, and you'll enjoy it, and you'll

hope that it continues to translate.

There are going to be teams with better

run defenses.

There are going to be teams that are

able to defend the pass better than what

the Eagles are.

But you need some positive momentum, and I

think you achieved that tonight with this big

win on the road.

Dallas finishing tonight.

You'd had a couple of drives late that

stalled, but you had the big touchdown from

Javonte there to really put the game on

ice.

Good, good night.

This brand, this balanced brand of football, something

I think a lot of us can get

behind.

And like I said earlier, when you have

a defense that is much maligned, that is

not very good, being able to run the

football and control the clock is just huge.

Absolutely huge.

All right.

We will get into our Cardinals preview here

in just a little bit.

Cowboys win 38-21 over the Eagles.

Thank you, everybody, for hanging out.

Nico says, still not satisfied with the defense,

but they closed out that fourth quarter.

100%.

Nico, appreciate the comment.

Another TikTok comment.

This made my day.

Made my day, for sure.

Always good when you end a Monday and

you got your team playing on Monday night

football.

Always nice going to bed with a win

on your mind.

Eagles fans are actually mad that we lost.

They don't know ball draft pick.

That's one way to think about it.

I mean, that is one way to think

about it.

If you're an Eagles fan, you got the

Jalen Hurts health issues.

You've got some other injury issues to keep

players.

It's going to be tough for them to

put together a really successful 2026.

It is.

It just is.

I know some people, that's the mindset.

I got to be honest with you guys.

It's really hard for me personally to go

that direction and cheer for a better draft

pick.

Just can't do it.

Just not in my nature.

But it is what it is.

Cardinals up next.

49ers we got in a couple of weeks.

Colts sandwiched in between.

Got some quality opponents coming up.

I know the Cardinals record isn't that great,

but always a pesky matchup.

49ers, of course, one of the best teams

in the NFL this year.

That that's going to be the big test.

If you can get a big resounding, I

don't even want to say big resounding.

If you can just have a solid game,

you win against the Niners.

That might get some people believe in that

might get some people believe in it really

will.

I know it's going to be hard for

me not to they go and beat the

49ers.

And a few weeks here on November 15th.

That's going to get the hype train rebuilt

for sure.

For sure.

Like I'm not saying that they're winning at

all.

If they win that game, don't quote me,

please don't get it twisted.

But you know, if they win that football

game, it's going to get loud.

There's going to be a lot of talking

about the Cowboys.

If they can pull off that game.

I'm not getting my hopes up, but man,

that would be sweet.

No doubt.

All right.

Let's talk a little bit about Arizona.

So that's going to be by the way,

12 PM, start noon, central start, Arizona coming

in at two and five.

They just lost 30 to 16 to Denver

Jacoby Brissett, 272 yards against the Broncos.

27 of 48 Trey McBride feels like the

most obvious defensive stress point.

He caught 10 for 111 and a touchdown

against Denver.

So the tight end game, we know that

Jacoby Brissett little security blanket a la Romo and

Witten. McBride feels like the guy that you

key in on, you know, Dallas has to

find an answer in the secondary for him.

You have the secondary still kind of as

the big question mark right now, you have

explosive plays a concern.

Those things have been, I feel issues we've

talked about every single week in Dallas.

So that's to me, the big stress point

Trey McBride limiting him.

Arizona has struggled to score consistently.

You've seen them put up points at times,

but it has not been consistent.

Cowboys.

I think should have a quite meaningful opportunity

to carry the offensive improvement into another game.

If they can control the clock, like they

did tonight against the Eagles against the Cardinals

back at home, this version of the Cowboys

feels tough to beat.

Even with the defense that is subpar, even

with the defense that's below average, when you

can control the line of scrimmage, when you

can control time of possession, it makes a

big difference.

If the defense is your weakest unit, the

less they're on the field, the better.

And having a good running attack is a

big, big part of that.

Gary, a comment from TikTok here.

Wish we had coaching like San Francisco does

still winning with all the injuries they have.

I mean, they had a rough year.

What was it last year?

They had a rough year.

There's only so much you can overcome, but

you definitely feel better about San Francisco's coaching

staff than the Cowboys coaching staff.

I don't think that's a hot take in

the slightest question from TikTok.

Who do you put on McBride Overshown?

That's creative.

I feel like you, you have to have,

you have to have one of your better

defenders on him.

I don't think you want to leave it

up to one of the inexperienced or lesser

secondary guys.

You definitely are going to have to figure

out they're getting, I'm sure they're going to

scheme it up, but that's the guy you

got to contain.

I think you can mix Overshown in on

him.

You know, Overshown will be able to run

with him Overshown.

One of the faster guys on that defense

Overshown, such a versatile player, man.

He can disrupt the running game.

You know, he's a guy that can clearly

cover in the past game, had the interception

tonight.

It's an interesting move.

It really is.

Jacob says who I would probably start next

week, but that's without me doing any research.

My guy, I'd probably start Jacob's comment from

tick-tock their list of names to start.

Jacob's had a pretty good first game back.

I think he had a receiving touchdown, ran

the ball.

Okay.

Not bad for a first game back though.

Not bad at all.

All right, y'all.

That is going to just about do it

for us on the live show.

And it was a great night of football.

I am excited to see what happens next

week.

What comes out next week.

Cowboys back at home and look, we will

be back right after that game is over.

Probably even during the fourth quarter.

Oh man.

I hope you guys will come back and

hang out again.

And again, if you haven't hit that follow

button yet, this is what we do pretty

much every Sunday, every Monday, every Thursday, whenever

the Cowboys are playing, we'd love for you

to have another appearance on the show next

week.

And this is pretty, a pretty common occurrence.

We, we got some points to go off

of.

We got some comments.

We got some Q and A.

It's great stuff.

Thank you to everybody that has commented, that

has liked the show that has shared it

with somebody, shared it with another Cowboys fan,

much appreciated.

We're going to have a lot of content

out to you this week.

Cowboys content.

I will also have some Dallas Mavs content

out tomorrow.

The Dallas stars are back in action, Texas

Longhorns.

They have a big game this weekend.

Pretty much every game is a big game

for them at this point.

You got to win out.

Don't want to leave it up to the

committee as a three loss team.

A lot of stuff going on, man.

October is a busy, busy month.

If you're a sports fan, I love it.

It is great.

The sports equinox, as we like to say,

you have it happen a couple of times

a year.

You've got April, you got like March, April,

right?

Where you got baseball and college basketball, and

you got the playoffs heating up for hockey

and NBA.

And it's tough to decide which one's better.

Personally, I prefer this time of year as

a baseball guy, but it's hard to beat

that March, early April time of year too.

Really is.

All right, y'all.

Hope you guys have a great rest of

your Monday night.

We will be back on Wednesday in a

couple of days doing our Texas Rangers off

-season show.

That'll be, I think, number four, number five,

and baseball might be over by that time

with how the Brewers are just cleaning up

on the Rays, man.

Like I'm happy for the Brew crew.

Don't get me wrong.

Happy for them.

I do feel and it's probably just me.

I know some people have really enjoyed this

post-season, but this post-season just feels

like it's lacking a little bit of juice.

I don't know if it's like the lack

of the big teams in it.

I don't mind seeing them lose by the

way, but this feels like this post-season,

at least for me, just a little less

juice than what I'm used to.

I could just be off on a complete

Island by myself, but not a lot of

elimination games.

I think there was one game five.

There haven't been any game sevens and I

want to see more baseball than less.

That's just me.

More baseball than less, please.

We'll see if baseball is over by the

time we do our Wednesday off-season show

though.

If it is, we can pretty much launch

straight into the free agency talk, can't we?

That's going to be fun.

As that starts to heat up the hot

stove, craves, free agent acquisitions.

It's going to be great.

Hope you'll join us.

And look, if I don't see you until

the next Cowboys game, hope you have a

great rest of the week, but otherwise look,

have a good Tuesday.

Have a good weekend.

Hope to see you soon.

And as I always say, attend every show,

God bless and go Cowboys.
